Coalition Warrior Interoperability
Initiatives:
CWID is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff annual event that enables the US combatant commands, national civil authorities, and international community to investigate Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions that focus on relevant and timely objectives for enhancing coalition interoperability while exploring new partnerships. The event is conducted in a simulated operational environment to provide context for warfighters and national civil authorities’ as they investigate and validate interoperability solutions. |
| 102/3 | 250 | COL Dolan | Lessons Learned: The Joint Center for Operational Analysis (JCOA) will lead a breakout session on Coalition Knowledge lessons learned. This session will focus on lessons from a variety of operations, to include overseas coalition lessons from the last three years in Iraq, Haiti and the Pacific Tsunami. Additionally, lessons from Katrina will be discussed as a framework for achieving interoperability within the borders of the United States. The session will also include a short discussion of JCOA's methodology in obtaining and process lessons. |
